Central American Commission on Environment and Development El Salvador, February 2011The Central American Commission on Environment and Development (CCAD) hereby
invites qualified independent consulting firms to submit a prequalification document for
consulting services required for implementing the Investment Program in Natural Resources
management with Indigenous Peoples in Central America (see paragraph 3.).
Funds have been earmarked for this program by the German bilateral Financial Cooperation,
provided through KfW development bank.

Taller de GPS
Posted on: September 2nd, 2009 No commentsDurante los días del 2 al 7 de setiembre que llevó acabo un taller: Generación de capacidades a grupos comunitarios en el uso y aplicación de tecnología de la información, para fortalecer el manejo tradicional de ecosistemas y el uso del territorio desde la Cosmovisión Indígena.
Enfocado en el manejo de herramientas de información geográfica, para el levantamiento territorial de las coberturas boscosas de las áreas donde participan las organizaciones comunitarias.
Básicamente el taller consistió en el uso de GPS para ubicar las áreas de interés y levantar puntos de información, así como su preparación digital para incluir en mapas, los cuales serán insumo para información que se estará usando en actividades próximas por ejemplo en la definición de Territorios ERAS y Territorios PERFOR.
